DARWIN THE DINOSAUR - The Sensational Show From The US

Kids love video games, action and dinosaurs. The US-creatives IAN CARNEY and CORBIN POPP have put all these ingredients together and created a really magical stage show, which is now coming on tour in Europe after big success in the USA.

In DARWIN THE DINOSAUR you will experience the prehistoric giants live on stage – in a way that is definitely new for you. Six professional dancers bring the fantastic creatures to life, glowing in the dark with the help of digital LED technics. A real army of characters appears on stage, directed by the dancers like larger than life marionettes. The dancers themselves remain invisible. The figures appear on stage as if they are painted in the air. You get the impression, as you see an overdimensional video game live for the first time. A completely new experience!

Apart from the modern technology the story is important, too: The scientist Professor Henshaw creates DARWIN THE DINOSAUR with the help of his good heart. DARWIN sadly leaves his foster father and makes his way to explore the big world. After many adventures, dangerous moments and new experiences he has to realize what real love means and returns to his creator. A story without words, which exuberates heart, humor and a breath of magic.

In the final scene the dancers become visible and step into conversation with the crowd to answer their questions. Workshops with school groups are also possible when visiting DARWIN THE DINOSAUR. The production is doing such workshops frequently in the USA, where it was a huge success among both, pupils and teachers.
